Terms Of Service

Welcome to SetraHost! Thank you for choosing our services. Please review these Terms of Service carefully before using our hosting services. By using SetraHost’s services, you agree to comply with these terms.

Services Provided:
SetraHost offers various web hosting related services, including domain names, shared hosting, reseller hosting, and WordPress hosting.

Account Setup:

  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the account setup process. If anything is incorrect, please contact our support team.
  • Accounts are typically set up instantly upon successful payment. However, if an order triggers our fraud protection system, we may require additional information to verify the legitimacy of the order.
  • SetraHost reserves the right to withhold setting up the account until we receive satisfactory information confirming the order’s legitimacy.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. SetraHost is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to protect your account information.

Usage Policy:

  • You agree not to use SetraHost’s services for any illegal activities, including phishing, hacking-focused content, IRC bots, spamming, infringement of copyright, child pornography, or any activity that violates applicable laws.
  • Legal adult content is allowed, but streaming or videos related to adult content are prohibited.
  • SetraHost reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately if any prohibited activity is detected.

Payment and Billing:

  • All fees are due in advance and are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
  • Services are set to auto-renew by default. To avoid auto-renewal charges, you must disable auto-renewal or cancel your service through the SetraHost client area before the applicable renewal date.

Automatic Renewal:

  • All services, including hosting services, domain registrations, domain renewals, and addons, are set to automatically renew by default unless auto-renewal is disabled.
  • Monthly services are automatically renewed and charged within 48 hours prior to the service expiration date.
  • Annual and multi-year services (1–3 year billing cycles) are automatically renewed and charged 15 days prior to the service expiration date to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Domain registrations and renewals are automatically renewed and charged 15 days prior to the domain’s expiration date to help prevent accidental loss of the domain.
  • You may disable automatic renewal at any time through the SetraHost client area. If auto-renewal is not disabled before the renewal charge date, the payment method on file will be charged accordingly.

Domain Expiration & Restoration:

  • You are solely responsible for ensuring your domain names remain active and renewed.
  • Failure to renew a domain may result in domain suspension, expiration, or permanent loss of the domain name.
  • SetraHost is not responsible for redemption, restoration, or recovery fees imposed by domain registries.
  • If a domain enters the redemption or restore period, a $90 domain restoration fee will apply, in addition to the domain renewal cost, where recovery is still possible.
  • Some expired domains may not be recoverable once deleted by the registry.

Cancellation and Termination:

  • You may cancel your account at any time through the SetraHost client area.
  • When submitting a cancellation request, you will have the option to select immediate cancellation or end-of-term cancellation:
    • If you choose immediate cancellation, your account and all associated data will be scheduled for termination by the end of the day. No backups will be retained once the termination is complete. Do not select this option if you wish to retain access to your files or need time to create backups.
    • If you choose end-of-term cancellation, your services will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle, after which they will be terminated automatically.
  • SetraHost reserves the right to suspend or terminate services immediately for violation of these terms or for any reason deemed necessary. This includes disrespectful or abusive behavior toward SetraHost staff.

Money Back Guarantee and Refunds:

  • SetraHost offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on hosting services, excluding the cost of domain registrations or transfers.
  • The 30-day money-back guarantee is available only to first-time customers who have not previously purchased any service or addon from SetraHost.
  • Refunds are not available for addon purchases, including but not limited to additional disk space, dedicated IP addresses, or premium features.
  • Domain registrations, renewals, and transfers are non-refundable once processed.
  • Accounts terminated due to policy violations or abusive behavior toward staff are not eligible for refunds.
  • Upgrades or added services do not reset or extend the original 30-day refund eligibility.

Content:

  • You are solely responsible for the content stored and transmitted through SetraHost’s servers.
  • Storage is intended for website and application-related files only. SetraHost reserves the right to remove excessive backups or non-essential data.
  • SetraHost provides offsite daily backups; however, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups. SetraHost is not liable for data loss.

Third-Party Services:

  • SetraHost services may include third-party software and services such as control panels, SSL providers, site builders, and backup systems. Use of these services is subject to their respective terms.
  • Third-party services are provided “as is” and without warranties beyond those offered by the original provider.

Uptime Guarantee:

  • SetraHost provides a 99.99% uptime guarantee for server availability, excluding issues caused by customer configurations or code.
  • Events beyond SetraHost’s control, including natural disasters, are excluded.

Limitation of Liability:

  • SetraHost shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from use of our services.

Changes to Terms:

  • SetraHost reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting.

Governing Law:

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.

By using SetraHost’s services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use SetraHost’s services.
